"Sounds good. Heard you might be hungry somewhere." He presses a kiss on Finn's head. "And I wanna do some shopping after we get some food."

Because lube. He did not pack any because he assumed he wouldn't need it. He's never been so happy to be wrong before.

Finn snorts, amused. "Where'd you hear that?" It's not like he hasn't talked about it a dozen times already. He likes to eat, okay? It's a luxury.

And he nods at the mention of shopping. "I do still need a swimsuit. Maybe some more casual clothes."

"Hm. Here?" He pokes Finn lightly in the stomach. Who knew, it might even growl at him.

"You definitely need some more casual clothes," he agrees. It's kind of funny Finn's not thinking along the same line, but after a moment of thinking about it, he decides to make it a surprise. Hopefully he'll be able to find something. Something good, even. "Grab some fun beach towels too."

Finn snickers. "Getting on lunch time, isn't it?" ~~Wasn't much of a snack he'd just had.~~

Well, he'd been thinking about shopping for a while. "Food, shopping, a nice run. Then--maybe some more of this? I don't think I'll be too tired."

~~Guess you better suck harder next time if you want more, Finn~~ "Does your stomach wait for lunch time?" he teases. "Or is it just all times are lunch time?"

"Sounds like a good plan of attack. I figure we go back to our rooms and see what we feel like doing." Lube. Definitely needs to find lube. He wonders if Finn would like to be on top, since he would definitely like to ride that cock. Better to explore that later, though.

"Any time between breakfast and dinner," he admits. "I--I like getting enough to eat. Not that they ever starved us, you know, not like Rey who had to fight for her food, but--I never really got enough." And yet, despite the light duty he's had and a few days of relaxation on the ship, there's very noticeably no flab hiding his muscle.

Finn straightens up so he can give Poe another kiss, less desperate this time but no less firm. "I got some ideas. Might have some more by then."

"I got you." Maybe he should stop teasing Finn about eating all the time. Yeah, he probably should. "Sorry." He idly smooths his hand over Finn's hair.

Grin. "Oh is that so. Better start making a list."

"It's all right." He doesn't talk about the First Order if he can help it, so it's not like Poe knew. Not that Poe doesn't have a good idea of some of the restrictions, what with Finn remarking about how this or that isn't forbidden about the most routine things.

Maybe he should, at that. They've got a whole week here--and he thought he was having a good time before this. He can aleady picture Poe up against the wall, squirming--no, better save those thoughts for later. Absently, he runs a hand over Poe's chest again. "I still want to go hiking and flying and swimming and sunbathing. But when we get back to the hotel every night, I want you."

He'll just have to find other things to tease Finn about. Ones that aren't going to touch on a painful past.

Poe has no idea what Finn's thinking, but he likes the look on his face. He rests a hand on Finn's shoulder, thumb stroking his skin idly. And he can't help but grin, because well, it's good to know where things stand. There's no ambiguity in that at all. "I'm in," he says. All in. That's the Dameron way. He lightly pokes Finn's shoulder. "And hey, there's always places like this too."

One more thing to smile about. As long as there aren't other people around--as much as Finn isn't used to privacy, he also isn't thrilled at the idea of an audience--he sure doesn't object.

Poe's not really an exhibitionist; if he thought they were going to get caught, he wouldn't suggest it. But sheltered beach with no one else around? Seems like a safe bet. And he does like the little hint of danger, maybe. Risk gets to be an addiction after a while, even if he doesn't quite realize it.

He bites back a teasing remark about not wanting Finn to starve to death. Not funny. "Still got a long walk," he says, and grabs his clothes.

Not that long of a walk, actually. A couple more miles along the beach and they find a more public area that's got some shops and food stands, as well as a place to rent surf boards. It'll work for everything they need, Poe's pretty sure. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be. First stop is one of the stands, which specializes in food on a stick. He's figuring Finn will like that.

If Poe wasn't a little bit of a thrillseeker, he would have got a desk job. Then again, Finn likes the excitement; he's not complaining.

Is he making a beeline for the food stand? Yep. Finn orders a stick of grilled crustaceans and one of a juicy-looking fish. The odd format actually makes it easier for him to take his time eating rather than scarfing it all down in a few bites, so he takes a seat at one of the provided tables and gestures for Poe to join him. "You gotta try this one," he says after a few bites of the crustaceans.

"Sure, it looks good." So he leans over and just steals a bite off one of the sticks. "Yeah, you're right." And he'll go buy some of his own and some twisted, lightly buttered bread to go with it. "They've got fried fruit ice too," he says. "Don't ask me how they manage it."

"How do you fry ice?" Wait, Poe just said not to ask him. Still, Finn munches confusedly, and when he's done he decides he'd better try it out instead of the fruit stick he'd been going to get. Turns out it's bits of fried fruit mixed in with fruit-flavored ice, and he gladly offers half the portion to Poe and scarfs the rest.

"I like it," he says as he finishes up, licking his lips thoroughly. Not that there's a lot of food he doesn't like, mind. The chilly dessert is just right, though, enough to cool him off without being overpowering.

He leans back on the table, contemplating whether to get another portion or to start shopping. Finn spies a place that has swimsuits and smiles absently. Poe would look good in one of those....

Poe takes his half of the dessert and eats it, though, "Some false advertising," he says. "I expected it to be more impressive. Not that it tastes bad or anything." But it feels a bit like cheating.

He finishing up his half of the dessert when he notices Finn looking around. "Hm?" Oh, look at that. "Yeah, you said you wanted to go shopping, right?" He leans over to kiss Finn--might as well, it's not like they're on base right now or anything--and starts collecting the remains of their meal. "Let's check it out."

It's still a thrill to kiss Poe Dameron. It's such a thrill. Finn grins and helps take care of the trash quickly so he can lead Poe over to the swim shop.

There are more styles and colors than he'd thought. He takes long enough staring at the rack that a sales associate comes over to help him out--fortunately, in this case, because he could benefit from some expertise. Finn walks away from the consultation with a handful of different designs to try on. "So, uh, do I show you what they look like first?"

Poe probably should help Finn with the picking stuff out, but he's having too much fun watching the guy just look around. (And it's not like he knows what to get for himself, either. Orange, he's figuring. He likes orange.) "You don't have to show me." Grin. "Though I'd like to see. But take 'em and try 'em on first and see if there's any you want to show off?"

One pair of trunks Finn had picked up is in fact orange, because he has a sneaking suspicion Poe likes the color. The first one he tries on to show off, though, is a ridiculous little piece he doesn't actually plan on buying, white and black striped and barely meeting the minimum standards of decency. He steps out of the dressing room to show Poe.

"How about this one?"

Okay, one look at Finn's face confirms that he's not serious. (He's not, right?) So Poe just grins. "I think you could save your credits and just go skinny dipping and no one would notice the difference."

Definitely not serious, though he makes a fake pose before laughingly heading back into the changing booth. (Where did he learn that? Probably some of those adult videos he picked up back at the hub.)

The next one is much more serious, a muted red pair of long trunks with various zipper pockets that looks like it could double as beachcombing shorts. "Is that better?"

Finn please. But yes, he's definitely looking. Got to get some lube for later.

"It's less likely to get you locked up for public indecency," Poe says. "Those look comfortable. I think you should go for a stronger color, though." Jewel tones would look great on him, he thinks. And pretty good on the floor later.

"I got a couple more to try. I like the cut on these." Stronger color, though--well he did grab one in an electric blue. This set is more designed for actual swimming, so it's close-cut and streamlined rather than multi-purpose. The fit is very flattering.

"Like this?"

"That's a good look," he says. Especially on the butt. And he's sure looking, not even going to pretend he's not. Not like there's any question that you find a guy hot once you've blown him. "Yeah, I like those."

Oho, he sees that look. Finn grins and checks himself out in the mirror - not bad at all. "Noted. Got one more. I'll be right back."

The last pair he has is the one he'd picked specifically with Poe in mind. The style is between the previous two - part regular shorts, part swimtrunks, and the color is a bright flight-suit orange with white accents. Kind of like BB-8.

Poe laughs when he sees those shorts, definitely laughing with Finn and not at him. "Playing to your audience, huh?" Those still look nice on Finn's butt, and he does like the color a little better than the electric blue. "Be careful, BB-8 might think those are for it."
